Iran is pulling a fast one

Looks like the Iranian Mullah's are pulling a fast one on the EU. I wonder if Israel will step in before some nutcase terrorist gets a bomb.

Germany posts record post-war unemployment

Germany has a record level of unemployment. Shroeder's government has made some inroads to tackle the issue very similar to the welfare reform act passed by a Republican congress and signed by President Clinton.

Schroeder's government had cut jobless benefits and forced claimants to take low-paid jobs in an attempt to get more people into work in Europe's largest economy.

I suspect that tougher measures are in store. A crisis such as this may be the catalyst that ends the European nanny state.

every mishap, every mistake, every rock in the road, as signposts of utter failure in Iraq. I am sick to death of people who claim to “support our troops,” but assure them that their sacrifices are for naught.
