Democrats - Are they for anything?

This article goes to good detail about what's wrong with Liberalism today. They are no longer liberal, or progressive. They have become ascerbic, mean-spirited, poor losers.

The Liberals, the Democrats, the "Progressives" (as they like to call themselves) have metamorphosed into the New Reactionaries, the "Neo-Regressives," opposed to every real change and innovation and forward evolution in public policy, tied hard and fast to their memories of their glorious past, however mythical, mired to the knees in the concrete boots of the status quo.
